The origins of 'posterwerx' began with this inspired but crudely executed piece. This work marked my final usage of a paste-up workflow. The hand-drawn illustrations were paired with type, watercolor markered and compositely color-copied. This initial tribute consisted of only 7-8 prints. No longer in possession of the original master, what is depicted here is one of the posters that the whole band signed.
Seven years later, I took the opportunity to revamp this concept in a digital format.
My evil-santa depiction definately needs revisitation at some point; too clever to just leave them at this crude stage.
